Soulja Boy Tell’em -’I finally understand Jay-Z’
Congratulations, Souljah Boy -
you finally join the ranks of MILLIONS who already knew that Jay-Z aka Jiggaman aka Jay-Hova – IS (arguably) the hottest rapper of all time.
Souljah Boy in his own pathetic words – had this to say….
“Jay-Z, I always respected him,” Soulja told us. “Always. But I didn’t always like his music. I guess because I was too young, and I couldn’t understand what he was saying.
[that is becuz Jay-Z is on a whole other level. You and most of these kids and rappers are incapable of understanding Jay-Z...]
… I got signed when I was 16 years old. Before I got signed, I heard the song, and I was like, ‘That’s Jay-Z.’ My favorite song from him was ‘Dirt Off Your Shoulder.’
[wow. really? not even one of his hits! lol...]
I guess I liked the beat or the way he was flowing on there.
['i guess i liked the beat' - geeezus...NEXT!!]
Any other song I used to hear, I ain’t really vibe with it like that. I used to listen to a lot of Down South artists like Three 6 Mafia or Gucci Mane.
[guess who THEIR fave rapper is...]
But recently, since I’m older now and I grew up, I like Jay-Z now. I’m a fan of his music. At first, I used to just respect him because he was Jay-Z; now I’m a fan of his music and I wanna work with him.
[i bet you do...]
“In the car ride over here, we was listening to ‘Brooklyn Go Hard,’ ” he added. “He said, ‘I’m Jackie Robinson — I jack, I rob, I sin.’ I didn’t know he was snapping like that. Back then, I couldn’t understand none of what he was saying.”
[just another line in an OCEAN of hot lyrics. you could only dream of dropping someting so hot...]
Son….. Jay-Z was already considered the hottest ever WHEN YOU WERE A BABY.
Souljah Boy had whats called a ‘moment of clarity’. All at once – it hit him that YES – Jay-Z is the hottest rapper and lyricist ever. He had to grow up – mature – get his ears out of that simple-azz down south ‘pop-snap’ rapping – and realize what real hiphop is all about!
Anyone can argue whether Jay-Z is currently hot or not – but there is NO debate when it comes to his hits and catalogue music. There are only a few artists’ in MUSIC history (forget rap!) that has a catalogue as impressive as Jay-Zs! How many artists (forget rap!) can say they dropped a hot album – every year – nonstop – for 15 yrs straight?!! Not even Stevie Wonder did that!
lay out Jiggas entire catalogue on end- You are looking at musical history….
Shall I continue? yes I shall…..

Ok ok ok – I’m done! FOLKS… these are just his hit singles!! And this isnt the entire list! haha :D Im not gonna even finish it. I think i just confirmed that the argument is OVER!!!!!
THERe. IS. NO. OTHER. PROVEN. RAPPER. HOTTER. THAN. JAY-Z!!!
That ain’t dick-riding ya’ll – thats just real talk! I like any artist that is hot – but I’m so sick and tired of these ‘Hot-right-now-artists’ getting happy off of the ONE lil single and thinking they can even MENTION jay-Zs name! And yeh – that includes everybody who says that Lil Wayne is the hottest rapper alive…
Lil Wayne is NOT the hottest rapper alive – he is the most popular rapper RIGHT NOW. Lil Wayne has been around since 1998 and finally … FINALLY made a splash in rap music. It took Wheezy a full decade to FINALLY do what Jigga did on his first album – waaaay back in 1995. So enough with the comparisons!! It’s retarded!! Its not even on the same planet – let alone the same list!! lol
Look – Soldier Boi – i understand you are young and have a lot to learn, but its just best not to say too much about things you dont unnerstand, ok?? Just be happy you are on TRL , BET, and the radio. Get yours NOW while you can. You will not be here 15 years from now, ok? I’m not being mean…im jus sayin. In 2024 – Soldier Boi will not be recording. You won’t. You might – however- be on VHI One Hit Wonders …..maybe.
Good luck with that!
